Launches

Early transportation from the railroads at Lakeland was by launch down the Huron.

Riverside Launch

The Riverside Launch. Probably leaving from Zukey Lake.  One story has it that the boat was purposely sunk in the deepest part of Portage Lake when it was about to be repossessed.
