Baseline Lake Postcards
The Point, On Way to Base Lake, circa 1910’s. This view of the Huron River entrance to Base Lake is a double postcard. Though they could be sent through the mail as one card, folded in half, this card was not sent postally. There is a long message on the back, but no postmark. The boat in the view is named “Elsie.”
Lyon’s Point, Base Lake. Lakeland, Mich. It’s unclear if Lyon’s Point is the same point as the double card above, taken from the lake view side?
