River Scenes
Lakeland. The owner of this card did not mail it, but wrote on the back, “Where we spent our vacation Aug 11-18-1912.”
Lakeland, Mich., postmarked 1912. Though both the cards of the same area on this page are dated 1912, the bottom view was probably taken a little later than the top one. The dead tree is standing at the top, missing on the bottom. Though the boats are both pulled up on the same spot on the shoreline of the river, they do not appear to be the same boat.
