Portage Lake Postcards
Portage Lake – Dexter, Mich., postmarked 1909. Looking down Portage Lake Avenue, Portage Lake to the left in the photo, you can see some more houses along the lake. In the first cottage are men with the same hats, a young man with the same “D” sweater, the same horse and carriage, and the same bicycle that were visible in a card of the canal and bridge over McGregor Road, shown earlier.
