Cornwall’s Camp – Strawberry Lake. , Postmarked 1917. The lake is not visible in this real photo postcard, but the view can be identified as Strawberry Lake on the Huron River from the information on the back of the card. It is dated by the writers, The Cornwalls, Sept. 5th 1917, and lists the location as Strawberry Point, with a postmark of Ann Arbor.
The date this card was sent (1917) to a captain in the US Army was in the midst of World War I. The captain was in an Army hospital in France.
