Dexter Postcards
Ann Arbor St., Dexter, Mich., circa early 1900’s. Great shade trees line the walkway in front of the homes that lead down the hill into the village business district.
Ann Arbor St. – Dexter, Mich., postmarked 1913. This view of Dexter was taken in late fall or early winter. Two women stroll down the walkway to town, which is visible farther down Ann Arbor Street.
After journeying up Ann Arbor Street to view the schools in the village of Dexter, our postcard route takes us back down the street into the village of Dexter on our way back to the Huron River. Though the views are not in chronological order, they are in the order in which you would view the village if you walked closer and closer back to the Huron River.
