Lakeland Postcards
Fernland on Huron River Near Lakeland, Mich., postmarked 1939. Though several miles of the Huron River would be considered in Lakeland, it is difficult to pinpoint exactly where postcards labeled Huron River are located. However, there is currently a Fernlands Road that winds down towards the river south of the railroad bridge in Lakeland, and this scene may be of that area.
