Baseline Lake Postcards
South Side, Base Lake, Mich., postmarked 1908. An array of unique rooflines line the shore of this section of the south side of Base Lake. Very nice motor launches float in front of the shore. The left launch has a banner which reads, “MUO?”, the right launch is named “Gallagher.”
South Side Base Lake, Mich., postmarked 1915. This colored card shows the same section of shoreline as the above postcard. The writers of the message say that they had “a big rain to go in 13 miles from Jackson.”
