Dexter Postcards

Birds-Eye View, Dexter, Mich., circa early 1900’s. Looking west from the east side of Main Street, you can see the main section of the village in the center left of the view.

Chrome postcard showing bird’s eye view of Dexter, circa 1970’s. The caption on the back of the card reads, “Published by Dale Fisher. Dexter, Michigan ten miles west of Ann Arbor along the scenic Huron River, is a village of tree-arched streets, small shops, and diversified light industry. Productive farms and sparkling lakes are close by. Its financial needs are served by the Dexter office of Ann Arbor Bank and Trust Company.”

In this more recent aerial view of Dexter, you can see the Mill Pond on the bottom right, Main Street looking east, Central and Broad Streets, and Baker Road center top, on its way from the village towards 1-94.
