The text at the bottom of this photo says "The Grand Trunk Railways “New Station” -- built around the turn of the century and located near the SE corner of Girard and M-36. Can you see, just above the station bench the peak of the Petty’s house on M-36 (built in 1905 by the railroad in exchange for land used by the railroad along Lake Zukey). Can you also see in this picture the raised umbrellas by the ladies sitting in the shade on benches during what appears to be a nice sunny day?"
